Burney Branch Court  -                                         Burney Branch Court Web Page  (information from CA Judicial Council web site.)                       The Burney branch is for filing unlawful detainers.                        All other matters are to be addressed to the Redding Branch of the Court.                        Such other matters will be accepted by the Burney Branch and forwarded to the Redding Branch of the Court.                        The public may pick up civil forms and pre-made packets for a nominal fee. See Fee Schedule. Small claims matters are generally scheduled the first, third, and fifth Friday of each month in the Burney Branch Court. Cases are scheduled at 1:30 p.m. The Burney Branch Court jurisdiction is as follows: Hwy. 299 E (eastbound) to the Lassen County Line, Hwy. 299 E (westbound) to the Oak Run Road turn-off, Hwy. 89 N to the Lassen County Line, Hwy. 89 S/Hwy. 44 to Old Station.
